Dr. James I. Suit, M.D.

A native of Alabama, Dr. Suit graduated from Auburn University in 1969, and received his M.D. from the Medical College of Georgia in 1973. After a medical internship at USAF Medical Center at Keesler Air Force Base in Mississippi, Dr. Suit completed his residency at Emory University in Atlanta.

He spent six years in the USAF, and was discharged as a Major. Dr. Suit joined the Eye Physicians in 1981. He is a clinical instructor in ophthalmic surgery at Emory University School of Medicine and a Clinical Associate Professor at Mercer University School of Medicine.

Dr. Suit is a board certified ophthalmologist and is a member of the American Medical Association, the Medical Association of Georgia, the Bibb County Medical Association, the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and the Georgia Society of Ophthalmology.

Dr. Suit is experienced in all phases of ophthalmology, including both pediatric and adult eye diseases.
